The problem with starting a weekly newsletter on the spur of the moment and in the midst of end-of-the-year festivities is that one does not yet have a substantial amount of banked content. Which is to say, sorry this newsletter is a day late and pretty scant on magical inspiration! I have just been too distracted offline for the past week to look for distractions online. I take comfort from the fact that there’s really no one subscribed and expecting this weekly missive from me yet, and very few who have found it by chance.
If you are one of those chance readers, I’d like to wish you a very happy holiday season and the best of luck in the new year. I am busy this week making plans for 2023, which includes deepening my own search for magical inspiration, a journey I will share with you over the weeks to come. I hope you’ll subscribe and join me!

Our Dreaming Opportunity
“It turns out that reading and writing are the cornerstones of this practice, now more than ever. These are the two skills most likely to produce exponential results.
“The effective writer can see their ideas spread to a hundred people overnight, or perhaps a million. Writing is still the bedrock tool we use to codify and share ideas, and it forces us to organize our thoughts.” (Seth Godin)
Traveling Without Moving
It’s Sort of Like Time Travel
“I’ve just spent more hours than I should have digging through old, off-line blog posts and I’ve had a minor revelation: as much as I enjoy the process of composing a blog post, I also really love being able to engage with my past self when I reread it years later.” (Magic & Ink)
