I love this post! Such decks can be really fun to play around with narratively - I fell into the rabbit hole of Tarot after reading how a writer used it for writing (https://wvfitzsimon.com/the-storytellers-tarot-spread/). It makes me so happy that someone came up with the idea of creating something like Mythulu specifically for storytellers!

There are actually quite a few decks that are great for storytelling - I just got this one last week, that’s specifically based on fantasy themes and tropes (https://bookshop.org/p/books/the-citadel-a-fantasy-oracle-fez-inkwright/) - it’s absolutely gorgeous. I love decks of all kinds, including tarot. In fact the creator of the tarot deck I use most often, Kris Walderr has just come out with a book Tarot for Storytellers - I need to remember to add it to my holiday wishlist!

The deck you linked - omg it’s stunning. Terrible, terrible thing, as I’m a sucker for pretty illustrations (yep, it landed in my wish list 😂).

Yay, another Tarot fan! And thanks for the heads up about the Tarot for Storytellers book!

Ooh, I bought these Mythulu cards a couple years back for this very use case! Thanks for the video.
